LONG TIME, NO WRITE

The last two months our Mommy has been keeping us busy with Miss Kitty's new kittens (they are 8 weeks old!) Winter is almost here and Mommy is looking to get homes for the little cats; Hermes was adopted last month by two of Mommy's friends. Me and Choe don't mind the little tykes as long as they leave us alone when we are trying to sleep, they are so active!

Water breaks?!

Miss Kitty is very big with unborn kittens and last night her water broke while she was visiting; Mommy fixed a place for Miss Kitty to have her babies so they would be safe and warm. Mommy says we need to find good homes for them too, by Christmas.

Meet the new commando

His name is Hermes. Mommy's neighbors found him at the train station trying to run up the 'down' escalator. Since their dog didn't like the little guy, Mommy took him in; I decided to be a big brother to him as I don't have any babies of my own; Choe is still getting used to him. He might be three months old, but, he knows where the litter box and the toys are. He likes to play rough, but, I don't mind. Mom says we have to find him a good home because she's only taking me and Choe to the states next year.

All Night Playtime

It got hot in our house last night, so, Mommy let us stay out on the patio. Miss Kitty came by to visit, she likes our Mommy better than her Mommy. We have lots of toys to play with and I don't mind sharing. Choe is shy around Miss Kitty, but, she doesn't mind her coming by to visit.

The Rooftop Deck at Night

Mommy put fire sticks on the roof and lots of chairs for her friends to sit on when they come over this weekend. She put a fire stick on the stairs so we can see going up to the roof. The stairs are steep so we have to be careful. Me and Choe like to watch the lights at night until mommy calls us in for the night so she can go to sleep.

The Tomcat Godfather of Hae Bang Chon

Yep, that's T-Boz. He's been in alot of cat fights. Me and Nomad like him because he protects our street from other kitties who do not live here.
His tail is funny, it's broken off at the end and a piece of bone is sticking out of it; His mommy lets him stay out all night; our mommy says we have to be indoors at night. T-Boz likes our mommy and lets her pet him when he comes over to visit.

Choe the neighborhood busy-body

Yeah, I have to know what's going on in my neighborhood. Nomad and I spend most nights peering out of the house windows whenever we hear a catfight going on. Mommy doesn't seem to mind. Lately, Mommy has let Nomad and me go to the roof to play and the view of the neighborhood is awesome! Mommy always tells us to stay away from the pool; we hate water anyway and the thought of getting my fur coat wet makes me uncomfortable!

Meet Nomad's girlfriend

I have a lot of feline friends on our street. Most of them don't have very good mommies, they always come over to visit. Mommy doesn't mind as long as she knows who me and Choe are friends with.
This is my girlfriend, Miss Kitty. Miss Kitty lets Mommy pet her sometimes when she comes over to visit. Miss Kitty says her mommy doesn't give her much to eat or pet her like Mommy does for me and Choe.

Too hot for fur

Mommy cleaned the terrace and the upper deck this weekend. Nomad and me got to go see what she was doing and we almost got wet with the hose water!

Boo-boo Kitty

Yesterday Mommy found a scrape on my left hind leg. I told her it was nothing, but, she cleaned it anyway with tingle-water and put some gooey jelly on it to make it better. Tonight, me and Choe are gonna play 'Seek and Destroy' while Mommy is out with her friends. I hope Mommy doesn't mind if we mess up her bed covers!

The Blustery Day

Ranger Nomad here; Saturday it rained all day. It made me sad and Mommy had to go take care of a work-related matter. She came home before lunch and made us some good eats! I know Choe is still grounded for her all-night adventure on Monday, but, she was allowed to play with me on the terrace when the Sun came out today. Mommy bought some new bed linens Saturday and put them on the bed, Choe and me got to sleep on them to break them in. Mommy is the greatest Mommy ever, she always hugs us and tell us she loves us both.

The Adventures of G.I. Choe

I decided to stay out all night on Monday. Mommy found me the next morning at 0445 hiding in a stranger's courtyard and Adjashi let her in to rescue me, but, I wasn't ready to go home so I clawed her and ran away. I found myself in another stange place and I heard Mommy calling my name; I answered in hopes she would know I was OK and would leave me to my outdoor freedom. That was not to be. Mommy scaled two big walls to rescue me and I ran off again and hid once she got me back into familiar territory. Tuesday evening when she came home, she called me and followed my meows to my hiding place and lured me out with my favorite catfood. She carried me home, kicking and yowling, of course. Once I got into my home, Ranger Nomad proceeded to interogate me as to where I was, but, I was glad to be home. I love my Mommy.

Our neighborhood

Tonight we're hoping Mommy lets us out to play with our cat mates. I know she worries about us, but, we always do come home.
A few nights ago I brought home a big Wasp because I thought he was cold and needed a playmate, Mommy didn't think so and made me let him go. Choe tells me she used to bring home Grasshoppers for Mommy, but, Mommy has a rule: If it has more than four legs and weighs less than five lbs, it does not come in the house.

Militant Kitties in their habitat

Yup, that's us! Mommy travels around alot and we greet her everyday when she comes home from work. Our job is to guard the perimeter and brief Mommy on the day's activities when she comes home from work. I'm gonna be two years old this Summer and Nomad is gonna be one; I'm the one with the cool Orange fur.
