Day Six: Bitsy Fitting in
Bitsy has been a gracious little house guest here, me and C.C. have grown attached to her. Mommy is concerned that Bitsy was abandoned when her mommy and daddy left our neighborhood. Mommy gets upset when people abandon their pets, she says pets are family members. Mommy says if nobody calls to say they lost her before the end of next week, she is going to find Bitsy a nice home with a good family. C.C. thinks Bitsy looks like Nomad; the day Bitsy showed up on our
porch was exactly one year after Mommy had to have Nomad put to sleep because he was so sick. I think it's weird, I have never met Nomad, but, C.C. says Nomad is the reason why she and Mommy became friends. Talk about Deja Vu!

Little Bitsy, Day Three

Itsy Bitsy, 1 1/2 days later
Bitsy seems really happy to be here. She is getting used to me and Crash. She only weighs four lbs and me and Crash weigh a lot more than she does! Mommy makes sure Bitsy gets plenty to eat, although she doesn't eat much.
Mommy is worried that somebody may have abandoned Bitsy. She's so young and so little!

House Guest, 13 hours later

Well, me and Crash are getting used to the new kitten; she really likes Mommy! Mommy is worried that the kitten was abandoned by people leaving our neighborhood. Mommy has named the kitten 'Bitsy' for now. She is still afraid of me and Crash, but, we're glad she's house trained and uses the litter box. I hope Mommy finds Bitsy's home soon!
We think Bitsy is a Maine Coon kitty! She has a lot of hair in her ears and on her paws and her tail is so shaggy!

Our Kitty Friends, They Are Many!

These two Tomcats are Bubba (The B/W) and Stinky (The Tabby). Me and Crash heard them arguing this morning and I went to the window to see what was happening and Crash took his place, hiding behind the livingroom couch! Mommy went out on the porch to tell them to be quiet and come eat the food she put out on the porch for them.

The view is great, the weather is great......I kinda miss Korea, I miss my kittens, but, I know mommy made sure they got good homes cuz I got to meet the people that adopted my babies!

LAZY NEW YEAR
Saturday, December 29, 2007
2007 almost over
WOW! This year has gone by sooooo fast! Mommy retired from the military this month after 20 years active duty. She's been real busy finding other things, besides taking care of us, to keep her busy until she finds a new career. Me and C.C. keep her company and we get to meet the other kitties that live here. The other kitties like mommy because she pets them and lets them come visit with us.
Maybe mommy will let me use her special camera to take pictures of our new friends here!

About us new commandos
Okay, Ranger Crash here; I'm not a typical housecat. I'm five years old, weigh 18 lbs (Yeah, I'm a big boy), and I'm a U.S. citizen.
G.I. C.C. is a native Korean Calico something or other, she's three years old and weighs 12 lbs.
Mom took me in this past Spring after Ranger Nomad (pictured below, with Choe) had to be put down (poor little guy). Mommy was heartsick. I used to belong to another soldier, but, he couldn't find a place for me while he was deployed so Mommy adopted me.
C.C. was Ranger Nomad's favorite feline, he was Godfather to her kittens (yes they all have good homes). Mommy decided C.C. was the best candidate to take to the states (and me, of course), since Choe was very depressed and became very naughty.....she hissed at me when Mommy brought me home! C.C. was the only one who came up to greet me and make me feel welcome. Mommy found a good home for Choe with a nice family, she's spoiled anyway, but, I know Mommy misses her. When Mommy went to the states, it was too hot for us to go with her, so, we stayed with Hermes (the other commando, he's ornery), and Meowers with their Mommy and Daddy. A few weeks later, we were loaded on a big airplane and here we are!
Anyway, that's us in a nutshell.
Changing of the guard
Say hello to the newest Commandos....Crash and C.C.! The guard was off
icially changed earlier this year when Ranger Nomad became ill with feline jaundice, the poor trooper had to be put to sleep, but, mommy had him cremated and put in a special little urn, G.I. Choe became very depressed and started wetting on everything, so, mommy reassigned her to a new post where she could get the attention she needed.

LONG TIME, NO WRITE

The last two months our Mommy has been keeping us busy with Miss Kitty's new kittens (they are 8 weeks old!) Winter is almost here and Mommy is looking to get homes for the little cats; Hermes was adopted last month by two of Mommy's friends. Me and Choe don't mind the little tykes as long as they leave us alone when we are trying to sleep, they are so active!

Meet the new commando

His name is Hermes. Mommy's neighbors found him at the train station trying to run up the 'down' escalator. Since their dog didn't like the little guy, Mommy took him in; I decided to be a big brother to him as I don't have any babies of my own; Choe is still getting used to him. He might be three months old, but, he knows where the litter box and the toys are. He likes to play rough, but, I don't mind. Mom says we have to find him a good home because she's only taking me and Choe to the states next year.
